Yes, because the match funding pays for the support and evaluation programme but colleges will incur further costs e.g. staff time and cost of cover to enable staff to take part, t&s, consumables, etc.

The match funding is for the support and evaluation which includes a range of services such as: •technical training and mobile learning CPD•expert advice, mentoring and support•development/procurement of some common learning materials •sharing best practice and lessons learned from other programmes•membership of a mobile learning network with links to other networks, fora and organisations involved in mobile learning •network services including workshops, conferences, newsletters, on-line peer-to-peer collaboration/support/resource sharing environment •research training•research to identify benefits, issues and best practice •evaluation of impact •publicity and dissemination of achievements and lessons learned
