Other Mobile Learning conferences

In 2002 a group of 30 or 40 enthusiasts met in a lecture theatre at Birmingham University. The subject matter was Mobile Learning, at the time a very new and novel concept. This was the first MLEARN conference. This conference series is now in its 8th year and attracts hundreds of researchers, practitioners and developers from around the world. Also, MLEARN is now not the only mobile learning event, an increasing number of conferences, workshops and seminars are taking place each year in many different locations.
