The annual Handheld Learning conference is held in London each October and focuses on transformation in learning and teaching using handheld, mobile and ubiquitous technologies.

Handheld Learning 2007 took place from 10th to 12th October 2007
Handheld Learning 2008 took place from 13th to 15th October 2008.
Handheld Learning 2009 will be taking place in London from 5th to 7th October 2009.
IADIS (International Association for Development of the Information Society)
The IADIS international Mobile Learning conferences seek to provide a forum for the discussion and presentation of mobile learning research.
The 2008 conference took place in the Algrave, Portugal from 11th to 13th April.
The 2009 IADIS conference will be taking place in Barcelona, Spain from 25th to 27th February 2009 and will include a presentation from MoLeNET.
WMUTE (The IEEE International Workshops on Wireless, Mobile and Ubiquitous Technology in Education)
WMUTE 2008 was the 5th international meeting, extending the four previous WMTE/WMUTE workshops held in 2002 (Vaxjo), 2004 (Taipei), 2005 (Tokushima) and 2006 (Athens) to become a full conference the first time.
WMUTE 2008 was held in Beijing from 23rd to 26th March 2008.
IMCL (International Conference on Interactive Mobile and Computer Aided Learning)
The 3rd International Conference on Interactive Mobile and Computer Aided Learning, IMCL2008, was hosted by Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Amman, Jordan, from 16th to 18th April 2008, as part of an international initiative to promote technology-enhanced learning and online engineering world-wide.
